The Blue Cohosh is added to Mare and Foal Formula only during the last week or two before delivery. Mares that have had problems foaling or maiden mare benefit from this root. This helps to dilate the uterus and reduces labor pains, relieve muscle cramps and spasms. Make into a tea and feed over oats or regular feed.
