Heart disease, stroke and related disorders kill more Americans than all other causes of death combined.  Heart attacks will strike and kill over 60,000 Americans this year and affect over 100,000. The disease can be in an advanced stage before symptoms even arise.  Pressure in the chest, which can extend to the shoulders, arm, neck or jaw, can be symptoms of a heart attack.  Other symptoms are shortness of breath, dizziness, anxiety, fainting, nausea, or loss of speech. Hypertension can lead to heart disorders.  A low fiber diet is a contributing factor to the veins collecting material and causing blockage.

Cardiovascular problems arise when the heart’s blood vessels narrow and limit oxygen to the heart.  This oxygen limitation deprives the blood supply to the heart and can cause chest pains – known as angina pectoris.  Constipation is the main cause.  The bowels back up and the liver cannot eliminate fatty material and toxic deposits that accumulate in the blood and arteries.  (See “Toxic Build-Up” column.)  If you missed it you can get it on line at www.roshasremedies.com.  Treating constipation, which causes autointoxication, is how doctors before World War II, used to approach their patients with heart problems.  Hardening of the arteries or arteriosclerosis is an abnormal thickening and loss of elasticity of the arterial walls.  When the coronary arteries that supply oxygen and nutrients to the heart close up, the flow of blood is cut off completely, and a heart attack occurs, causing damage to the heart muscle.  Ginkgo Biloba aids in arterial blood flow.  It supplies oxygen and nutrition to the brain cells.  It can help prevent strokes and increase blood circulation.  Hawthorn berries feed and build the heart, lowers blood pressure, and has been found useful in lowering cholesterol and preventing cholesterol deposits.  Coenzyme Q10 is a powerful antioxidant that protects the heart and veins from cardiovascular disease.  It provides oxygen for the blood to increase stamina, endurance, and boost energy.  It will strengthen the immune system and help normalize blood pressure.

A change of diet is necessary.  A poor diet is another cause of cardiovascular disease.  Too much meat, saturated fats, fried foods, coffee, tobacco, alcohol and not enough fiber foods such as vegetables, fruits, grains and beans are contributing factors.  A lack of exercise deprives the heart of a sufficient supply of oxygen: a lack of fiber causes fatty deposits in the arteries.  A bad diet will invite bacteria and viruses as well as parasites and worms to invade the heart and cause infection.  Bee Pollen provides nutrients, Burdock Root cleans the blood, Cayenne cleans and strengthens the veins, and Kelp cleans the veins.

Healthy suggestions:  Go on a cleansing diet.  Just changing the diet is the beginning of a blood and cell cleansing.  Use herbal colon, blood and liver cleanser to help neutralize acids in the body and eliminate them.  Blood purification is the ultimate of all herbal therapies.  When the blood is purified and toxins and acids neutralized, the body can heal itself from disease.  Acidophilus provides friendly bacteria and is needed for protection.  Blue-green algae and chlorophyll helps build rich, healthy blood.  Flaxseed oil and salmon oil contains Omega-3 fatty acids.  Lecithin helps dissolve cholesterol deposits.  Vitamin A strengthens the veins.  B-complex vitamins strengthen the heart muscle. Vitamin C with bioflavonoid strengthens the heart muscles and protects the immune system.  Vitamin E with lecithin strengthens the heart and veins.  Calcium and magnesium protect the heart, veins and nervous system.  Potassium strengthens the heart.  Iron is necessary for healthy blood.  Eat as many raw fruits and vegetables as possible.  Add fiber to your diet.  Watch your weight.  Exercise provides oxygen to the blood to prevent heart problems.
